Proper care extends the life of your carrier and preserves its orthopedic properties.
Washing: machine wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, no spin. Use a mild detergent without chlorine or harsh bleach. Fasten all buckles and clasps before washing.
Drying: air dry only, laid flat or hung on a hanger, away from direct sunlight and heaters — this prevents warping of the rigid support inserts.
Air-mesh models (Max Flow, Max Light, Sling) dry faster than cotton ones — usually within a few hours at room temperature.
Storage: keep in a dry, ventilated place. Avoid long-term storage while tightly compressed, as this can affect the shape of the anatomical support ribs.
Stains: spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent rather than soaking the entire carrier.
